I made this black zip and faux pearl necklace for a wedding a couple of weeks ago. The back twists so it sits quite nicely on the neck, but it is not so easy to photograph:

I also made a fascinator from a headband I had with feathers on it... I added the fabric at the back, the zip loops behind the feathers and the zip flower at the front so that it complemented my necklace.

(Pop Can) Ring Pull Flower Necklaces
I have evolved my original ring pull necklace design. Here are two more necklaces, this time made so that they go completely over the head (hence there is no clasp). I have also attached focal flowers for a bit more interest.
Before I added the flower to the purple necklace, it was quite plain:

Silver Wire Wrapped Pendant
Another gift, this time for my mother. Again, the pendant came from Alton Towers (!) but this time I scanned the pendant and post processed the image to bring out the gorgeous blues that the camera failed to bring out in the copper wire wrapped pendant I made for my cousin.
(Pop Can) Ring Pull Necklace
One of my cousins apparently has a thing for handbags - I totally get it! Last year my Aunt got her a bag made from recycled Sprite cans for her birthday, similar to the beer and Coke ones below:
So when I was searching for inspiration last Christmas and I stumbled across this bag I immediately thought of her:
Unfortunately, it was way our of my price range :-(. However, I continued my search for better value and I ended up on the company website, much better but still too pricey. They did have a rather nice necklace and I realised that I could do something similar...
...which I did, so my gift to my cousin for her birthday this year was this rather unusual necklace:
I realise that it is a far cry from a handbag, but there simply was not enough time to drink all the cans that would have required. I was pleased with it though :-)... and she does wear jewellery too!

Copper Wire Wrapped Pendant
Another recent gift (for my youngest cousin's 21st) made from a slice of agate I stumbled across in a gift shop at Alton Towers (of all places!). The copper was heat treated before wrapping to achieve the distressed finish. The agate was quite a striking blue, it is shame that I did not manage to capture that with the camera :-(.
